Submitting your portfolio
At the end of the programme you are asked to submit a Portfolio to Trinity Guildhall/The Open University which provides evidence of your engagement with the programme. The portfolio should contain:
- Records of post-school visit discussions and feedback with your mentor
- Records of attendance at workshops
- Your PDP
- The Overarching Key Task: 'Reflecting on your Professional Development' (NB this does not apply to practitioners carrying over from year 1)
- The Key Tasks for the modules identified in your PDP (a minimum of 5 modules including the 2 core modules: What is Musical Learning? and Developing Vocal Work)
- Supporting evidence for the Overarching Key Tasks and the module Key Tasks which might include:
- examples of written responses to the tasks in the Study Guides which support the Key Tasks
- resources you have developed (these might include audio resources)
- examples of pupils’ work that have resulted from your work on the programme (recordings are welcome)
- any further evidence in the context of your teaching, e.g. self-review
Online evaluations of every module you complete (see below for details)
Based on the evidence in the Portfolio, practitioners will be awarded the KS2 Music CPD Programme Certificate.

Submission
We would encourage you to save all of your work and documents in the 'My Programme - Portfolio' area of the website as you progress through the programme. When you are ready to submit your portfolio please email us at ks2music.programme@trinityguildhall.co.uk with your Full Name and KS2 CPD Portfolio submission as the subject line. The programme team will then be able to view your portfolio online and you will receive your certificate in the post.
Alternatively, if you prefer you may submit your work as a hard copy or on CD Rom or Memory Stick by sending it to the address below.
Evaluation of each module As well as completing the two Key Tasks, you need to do an online evaluation of every module that you have identified on your PDP in order for them to be deemed as completed. This applies whether you are submitting your portfolio online or hard copy. To evaluate modules, log-in to the website, go to 'My Programme' and click on 'Modules'. Select the module that you want to evaluate and click on the evaluation link.
